While we may come from different places and speak in different tongues, our hearts beat as one

On a rainy walk, while exploring the beautiful Kyoto, I came upon a group of girls around my age in their traditional kimonos. I’ve always loved the Japanese culture, and figured I’d ask them if I could take a picture with them. They didn’t speak English but my “photo” gesture was obvious and they agreed. It was a beautiful moment I shared with these girls. We don’t speak  the same language but we shared a moment full of laughter based on a silly compliment. A moment I’ll cherish forever.
